“If you expect me to beg you are stupid to assume.” Spoken in a neutral tone yet confidently. At the end she will be doing him the same favor. “End your long winded rants. Get on with it, Russian.”
Anton scratched his chin in puzzlement. He moved slowly around the flat metallic table that held his defiant captive. It was not within him to withdraw when challenged, but looking at her in the white stark light was what he was interested in. He wasn’t interested in a sharp tongue or defiant stance. Instead, he watched each heave of her chest with a clinical eye. He looked into her eyes meeting her cold obsidian gaze with one of his own. He was so in tuned with his subject that the smell of her breath gave him a new feeling on her state. “I understand your misreading of the situation.” He said as he walked over to the table that held his instruments. He picked up two objects. One object looked like a strange looking dagger. He plunged it between her ribs. She winced slightly but did not move. The object began to move a sensor came out of the top projecting a holographic image of two of her ribs. The object suddenly spread inside her breaking both ribs then watching them slowly heal only to do it again. “I’m not here to coerce a confession from your lips.” He said as he watched intently. “I’m here for answer that you have inside you. You take the beauty within you for granted, and that is a shame.” He continued to watch barely looking at her. “I’m here for secrets that are more ancient than any Starfleet race, and I will have them.” He took the second object that was a long serrated blade cutting deeply into the opposite side. “Oh that’s a shame, what a waste.” He said in a disappointed voice. “So much wasted blood.”

Patton exited the conference room and took his place on the Bridge. He didn't know why, the commands and decisions being made by Captain Stanton were making less and less sense; but he had a duty to perform. Until there was a reason, or justification, to outright his orders, he would obey them.
He passed by Admiral Grabfoot, not meeting his gaze, and stood on the Bridge. He began giving orders to get the ship under way, and to prepare for a ship-to-ship engagement, but was still confused. This worsened, significantly, when Captain Stanton took several high ranking personnel, himself included, aboard the Thunder in a boarding action.
Sgt. Major Patton Grant, was the leader of a detachment of CRV Storm Troopers, specifically trained and equipped for such actions, yet they were being ordered and assigned as if they were simply Starship Security personnel. Worse, Grant was being left in charge of the Starship, something he'd only ever had minimal training on, and was expected to act as a full blown senior officer. Not what he was trained for, not really want he 'wanted'; then again, he didn't really know what he ever wanted...
He shook his head and focused on the battle before him, and tried to monitor the Away Team's status.

Haemis glanced back and forth down the corridor standing just beyond the door to the main engineering room. “Captain!” he called out loudly. A mist clung to the floor but the bodies were visible littering the hallways, in some places knee deep. The blood and gore ran deep, the stench was almost unbearable. Not seeing the Captain he hit his Comm badge. “McTavish to Away Team, It’s a trap! Bugger out back to the bloody shuttle we’ve no time!” he turned and started to head down the hallway the way they had come he could feel his shoulder throbbing harder and harder as he moved.
A Jem’Hadar stumbled around the corner, he was bloody close to death but he still carried a weapon he began to raise it up. Haemis stepped into the man burring the blade of the Jem’Hadar rifle into the alien sinking it all the way to the barrel. He let the man fall with the gun stuck in his chest to the floor. Bending down briefly and nearly falling over himself from blood loss. But managed to pick up the fallen man’s weapon. Checking the Power level he continued as quickly as his legs could carry him back toward the ship. He could hear his heart pounding in his ears as he got to the airlock moving through it and stopping long enough to grab a medical kit from one of the storage lockers, he sat heavy in one of the seats.
“Computer, ready the ship to leave!” he spat as he pulled a hypo from the kit and reached back injecting himself with a pain reliever and something that would counter act the anti-coagulant that was flowing through his blood from the Jem’Hadar weapon. “Bloody, Jemmy technology.” He spat. He stood up and headed back toward the aft section of the vessel and opened one of the Medical Storage lockers and retrieved a blood transfusion package and began to hook it up to himself hoping that the crew would return soon so they could leave. The pounding in his dead continued. It took a long few moments but he got the transfusion kit hooked up and started to provide himself with new blood and an IV unit. Pulling a magnet from one of the engineering storage lockers he walked back to the front of the vessel dropping into a seat using the magnet to hook the IV and Blood Bag to the overhead.

While being in this vulnerable state; Anya’s disposition kept a stoic decree. She stopped speaking entirely and watched her torturous have his way with her. “I understand your misreading of the situation.” Anton’s every move was reflected against her glossy jet black eyes. This chap came off as a child understanding nothing with his futile attempts. He can stab and break as many bones in her pale body, but when he discovers to whatever he seeks out. Will he understand? Will he find that something to only wish he hadn’t? “I’m not here to coerce a confession from your lips. I’m here for answers that you have inside you. You take the beauty within you for granted, and that is a shame. I’m here for secrets that are more ancient than any Starfleet race, and I will have them.” Through her bottomless eyes she watches this bloke hack his way with her body. Anya manage to make these sensations meaningless, and as pointless as Anton’s attempts got she gave nothing. Her blood left her body and dropped. “Oh that’s a shame, what a waste.” The Chap when on expecting to get answers from cutting in to her. What will any of that do? “So much wasted blood.”
Anya was calculated. She had every scenario projected in her cold mind. She let some of her control loosen, the kind that The Institute conditioned her to maintain. Her blood kept pouring out and her wounds closes straight away in mundane loops. The bloke at some point will note that the blood didn’t coagulate but bubbled when it touched the surface of the cold steel. Anton’s tools stabbed in to her warm meat like intercourse, like a Japanese rape deed. The tip of the blade penetrating within, Anya could feel the stiff metal move against flesh and bone. The medical instruments began to freeze. The longer they made contact with Anya the tools became brittle and fracture. She didn’t need to speak a word to the Russian everything was more or less said by the results. The bloody butcher will prod his way to the answers to only find more questions.

Haemis got up from his chair and crossed the room long enough to get a stimulant from the medical kit. He sat down while injecting himself. “Damn Jem’Hadar weaponry!” he muttered. He brought up the shuttles sensors and began to track down and lock onto the away team members. He knew it was only a matter of time before something would trip the trap and destroy them all if he didn’t act now. After locating the members of the away team, he began to feed the coordinates into the transporter and beam them back one at a time. “We don’t have time for a slaughter fest, I’m fine ifn ya wanna get yer bloody selves killed but not on my dime!” he ranted as he continued pulling them back to the shuttle one at a time!

Thunder engine room to Sortila Bridge:
"Captain" It was those panicked words that snapped Stanton out of his trance. He looked around the room and everyone was running away. He looked down at this feet, and saw bodies. His uniform was had changed color. He was drenched with Jem Hadar blood. It was too late to figure out why. He started to run behind the others, but he couldn't move. Not only did every muscle in his body ache, but he was cut. He forced his body forward part determination and part instinct drove him. He didn't know how long he could stay conscious. He only knew he could not afford to pass out. He had to get back to his ship. He had to get Sortila out of there. He was moving slow, but he was moving. That was a start. He pushed forward trying with all his being to keep his mind off of Kate. The insufferable bitch. The manipulative whore. The person who he felt something from that he never would have expected..fear. He managed to get out of the engine room or at least far enough hopefully not to have any transporter interference. He was sweating profusely and out of breath. "Sortila, this is Briggs" He said between breaths. "Get us out of here"
He materialized on the bridge and fell forward. "Get us the hell clear of this" He bark hoarsely at the helm officer. He turned around to look at the others. McTavish was cursing up a storm, and the others were checking for any injuries. He kept looking because something was missing. No, "someone" was missing. "After we are clear, we are going to need to have a memorial ceremony." He paused "We lost the Admiral."

Haemis stopped ranting as he suddenly realized he was on the ships bridge and not the confines of the shuttlecraft. He reached out to steady himself on the bridge railing and cursed several times having used the wrong arm and his shoulder wasn’t shy about telling him about it. His accent was thick as the curses came out.
“Get us the hell clear of this” he heard the captain say though he didn’t sound well. “After we are clear, we are going to need to have a memorial ceremony.” There was a long pause. Haemis wasn’t sure if the Captain was hurt or grieving already. “We lost the admiral.” He said.
Haemis blinked a few times, he didn’t know what the Captains relationship was with the Admiral but he clearly was not happy with this. He turned and as if he was about to head to the lift but stopped letting the silence set in on the bridge even as brief as it was he gave it another moment as he watched the ship start a quick sweeping turn away from the Thunder and the death trap they had been lead into. “Bloody Harlot!” he muttered as the ship slipped from view.
Letting off a low Sigh Haemis looked down at the decking, there were droplets of blood on the deck plate and carpet. It was going to be a pain getting those out later. He looked to the lift again.

The Drak modified Jem’Hadar attack ship was unrecognizable in almost every way. The structure was reinforced to take the stresses of what was similar in technology of the Voth’s Transwarp. Kate was in a trance that took in between herself and Drak. She was focused in finding what was the Legacy’s captain was up to and how it would benefit her. It was her duty to ‘know’ what it was, to decide to leave it be or take it from them. She has decrypted the hidden files from the Thunder, and now she is tracking down the ‘artifacts’ that the Legacy’s executive officer Colonel Jeremy Bul'tic took from the Karemma out post.
Her senses were extended through the modified Jem’Hadar ship’s censors that had picked up several Dominion ships, and a familiar feeling. She could feel an object jumping and slipping through space, which through chills down her body mixed with a pure familiarity in her being. Her Drak cells didn’t vibrate but it harmonized with this blur that followed her. Kate wasn’t threatened just drawn to it but her mission was to find the Legacy. It wasn’t for Stanton anymore but a curiosity of what these Starfleet were up to with Drak technology. She continued in her course that she extrapolated from the encrypted files. These coordinates didn’t state that the Legacy were there but the files revolved around a ‘star’ that was in late stages of supernova.
The only thing she knew about supernovas and Drak is that they can be made in to doorways. A sudden sensation befell through her body and the ship. She dropped out of Transwarp… the modified Jem’Hadar ship was at full stop. She felt a rush of fear in her bones and her core. It felt very human and she felt very disgusted with herself. Kate didn’t know why she would start experiencing these ‘weak’ sensations. ‘Fucking Stanton’ was all she could think about as to ‘why’ she could feel this emotion. Kate felt as pathetic as she looked down on Grabfoot. Was this what that low furry creature saw as an existence? Or is this what humans go through in the face of what they don’t understand. All this she experienced in fractions of a second but in minutes the ‘blur’ object and Dominion ships would be on top of her. She continued to feel scared going through unthinking erratic behavior. Having Drak cells in her they would be trigger when the non-drak components fail.
Kate’s eyes glaze over in a blackness and her mind goes silent. The modified Jem’Hadar ship jumps back in to Transwarp towards the coordinates but a disruption from behind her and in front was detected. The Kate’s seed that was implanted in the warp core of the Thunder had activated. This small thing the size of a golf ball imploded the Thunder, which had looked as if it melted in to a point in space. Kate’s singularity swallowed all the Dominion and Karemma Space station in a matter of less than an hour. The Sotrila had gone to Slipstream for the next hour they would feel nothing until a gradual drag in their momentum and they wouldn’t be moving. Time would slow down around them but for some unknown reason inside the ship would be normal. Some of the crew who are sensitive would experience uncontrollable rush of things that are and aren’t their own. Meanwhile in the star system where the Legacy is orbiting a planet; that star’s collapse process increases that will force the Legacy to leave that system. The interference between the imploding star and Kate’s black hole would also affect the unknown shadow blur that tails Kate.
Kate has checked out and in her place was this Drak, the dark thing that’s always been inside of her. That now controlled her completely. What this ‘thing’ wanted was pure single minded desire... The modified attack ship needed to reach the Legacy before the effects would also reach her. It could be felt all around her this dragging feeling but the Drak that has Kate’s body resisted and had reached the Legacy. The Drak detached herself from the bulkhead and managed to slip herself through the shields of the Legacy. There she would be unseen to search through the decks of the cargo that Colonel Bul'tic procured.

Location: USS Sotrila, Sickbay
<BR> Haemis stood just outside sickbay staring down at the sling around his arm and shoulder. He already hated the thing. It was a simple matter of having the anticoagulant removed from the wound and about an hour with a dermal regenerator followed by bone growth simulator and he was good as new. Well mostly. He would have to take it easy on the shoulder for a few days and at least twenty four hours in the sling the doctor told him. She was pretty adamant about it.
Starting off down the hall towards the turbolift he spotted a familiar face waiting for him. He approached quietly coming to stand next to Madalyn Price. She studied him for a long moment “I don’t need my scanner to tell me you’re not happy.” She said trying to coax whatever it was out of him.
“I donno. I’m supposed to go to this service for the Admiral. I didna even know the man. Seemed pretentious and a touch annoying but what Admiral isn’t these days? To many brass hens in the hen house!” he paused as the lift opened.
“But..?” she asked as they moved into the lift as its occupants exited.
He shrugged. “This feels different.” He said. “Deck 2!” he barked at the lift.
“How so?” she continued to probe.
He leaned against the back of the lift and adjusted the sling. “I feel more for the bloody crews feel’n’s than I do about the death of that man. That’s a touch weird for me” he said, his eyes came up to meet hers. “Is tha weird?”
She shook her head. “I don’t think so. Everyone deals with death in a different way.” She thought for a moment. “Perhaps your already adjusting to your new home.” She said with a reassuring nod as the lift came to a halt and let them out. “Are you at least going to go in support of your fellow crew-mates?” she asked as they stopped as his door.
He nodded, as he punched in the code to his room. “I’m going to hit the sonic, then get dressed.” He glanced over as she too was punching in the code to her door. “Are you?” he asked hopeful.
She nodded and disappeared inside the room. He took a few moments to find his dress uniform and laid it out on the bed. Pulled the sling over his head and set it down next to the uniform. Taking his things he walked over hitting the button on the door to the adjoined bathroom noting it was empty. He slowly stripped off what was left of his old uniform and stepped into the sonic shower. “Bloody hot!” he hit the activation sequence and turned up the heat setting and leaned back against the back of the Sonic shower chamber letting the vibrations run through his body.
“Don’t fall asleep in there!” Madalyn’s voice called suddenly which startled him. He thought for a moment to go for a towel but then realized she had already seen him naked once what was the point.
“Aye!” he said with a slight laugh. “I’ll do my best.” He watched her sit down on the toilet and he watched in amazement as she began shaving her legs. It took him a long moment to realize she was down to her own undergarments. It had literally only been a few days but she was already that comfortable to go through normal grooming while he was about. He shrugged it off laying his head back against the back of the sonic shower chamber. He was retracing the last several hours. It had been a whirlwind of activity. Not enough time to fix much but at least do damage control.
He suddenly remember Jackson again, that man was a good engineer but he could get under your skin easy. He continued to call him that.
Haemis blinked and stood upright as something flashed through his mind. He stood there for a long moment looking as though he might burst from the shower but the feeling subsided. Water… why was water on his mind. It stuck there. A giant wave. He blinked it away and hit the deactivation button on the sonic shower. “All yours!” he said as he grabbed his things and headed for his room.
“Thanks!” she said as the door shut behind him.
He toweled off and got his dress uniform on, it took longer than he expected with a lame shoulder but he managed. He stood at the door for a long moment trying to think of what he was forgetting. It was something important but it wasn’t clicking.
*Knock, knock, Knock*
What was it he was forgetting!
“Haemis!” he heard the muffled voice of Madelyn calling him from the other side of the door. He immediately reached up and hit the button releasing the door.
“Sorry las.” He said mournfully.
“You fell asleep didn’t you?” she said smiling.
“No,” he frowned and stepped out into the corridor gesturing with his good arm down the hall. “Shall we?” the headed off to the coming memorial service for Admiral Kitty Kat.

Rai blinked, then blinked again, trying to clear her vision. The bridge was awash with movement and color. Like a time lapse recording, some things moved in a blur, while others seemed frozen in the moment. Only her own movements were "normal". It was like slipstream travel, she thought, everything around her was out of sync.
In the center of the chaos, the captain appeared and for a moment everything righted itself, becoming clear and distinct. Rai stepped forward and collided with..herself. No, not herself, but someone who looked remarkably similar. She stumbled back and looked to see where the other woman was. She was gone, but Rai was left with a sense of urgency but no obvious cause for it.
"Get us the hell clear of this!," Briggs shouted. His eyes were unfocused as well but she followed the direction of his gaze to the main viewscreen. Nothing was there. Absolutely nothing. Then the nothingness solidified into a ship, black and dense.
"It's too late sir! Brace for collision!" No proximity alarms had sounded so Rai tapped the console and the blare of a red alert echoed through the bridge.
They were engulfed in darkness. Rai felt the weight of it settle into her chest and then explode as the ship hit them. In a flash of realization she understood and as if naming the darkness would somehow save them from it she whispered, "Legacy", then collapsed to the deck.

USS Legacy: The Meat Locker
The tension was palpable. Anton had stayed silent for hours now. Anton had removed his tunic several hours ago. His skin stood pail in the stark light of the room. The calm silence was broken only by the sound of the two breathing. The only thing that gave away the arctic room temperature was steam coming from their lips as the exhaled. Anya laid stock still on the metal table. She was showing no affects from the loss of blood. Her gaze was transfixed to the ceiling. Anton had to be careful. He must not get any of her blood on him. He had spent most of their time gathering on the analysis of her blood He looked down at the Legacy Commander she seemed to be waiting. The sound of her blood drops hitting the cold metal floor then boiling like acid was rhythmic. It was a counter melody against the sound of their breathing. He looked into her ebony eyes with firm expression. He had taken a lot of her blood, and some skin samples. He lifted one leg over the metal table that had held her restrained. He was straddling her looking down into her eyes. He got so close that he felt the warmth of her steady breath. The color in her lips or lack thereof, was breath taking. "I know you think I'm doing this for my amusement or curiosity." He said softly just above a whisper. He took one hand grasping her neck firmly. He had no expectations of her moving, but he could not take the change. He pressed on her neck until her felt her breath constricted. His strength defied his stature or that of an average man. "That is not my motivation at all, but I must learn things about you that diagnostic equipment can't tell me. I must have the raw materials of my own." He had concealed a long needled syringe. He moved it closer to her solid ebony eyes he didn't plunge it but slowly pushed it in at an angle. He felt every breath she took as it he slowly extracted fluid from her brain. He could feel both the warmth on his face, and he could feel the air travel through her wind pipe. He slowly with great care removed the needle looking down at her. He eye healed quickly but she was breathing rapidly. He breathing slowed as her eye healed but her nipples stiffened to a point. He waited just a little longer to release her throat. He stroked her cheek gently let a brief smile. "You are everything I hoped you would be, good. If we are to accomplish great things you will need to be."

Haemis rubbed at his knee, it was aching something fierce not to mention his shoulder. This was turning out to be a pretty bad day overall he was thinking. He slowly stood upright and resumed his usual post against the back wall of the lift. “Ach, bloody ache will not go away!” he said.
“You should have the doctor check that out, it could be a sign that you didn’t heal right.” She said looking down at his knee. “It couldn…” she was suddenly drowned out by the Red Alert Klaxon began to blare. “That can’t be good.” She said looking to Haemis.
He sighed deeply. “Bloody el… “ he straightened. “Computer, reroute to main bridge!” he said and felt the lift change destination and pick up speed. “This better be bloody good…” he said. “We canna even have five bloody minutes of peace…” he said allowing the exaggeration to set. The turbolift stopped and the doors parted to deposit the two of them onto the bridge, he exited and started heading around towards the engineering station, but stopping to see several of the ships officers gathered around Rai who was sprawled on the floor. “What happened!” he barked and started across the room toward the group.
He heard Madelyn calling for a Medical team to come to the bridge back behind him towards the turbolift. Haemis glanced around the bridge trying to figure out why the ship was at Alert status, something wasn’t right.

Post by Doctor Mitzy on May 13, 2016 22:38:07 GMT -5
Location: USS Legacy, Sickbay
Mitzy let out a giggle as she watched the glowing pink and purple liquids spiraling through the chemistry suite, watching them pour into a large beaker turning into a black smoke which then flowed through another tube into another place where it started condensing almost immediately into an orange liquid. The smell of citrus filled the laboratory and this made her smile only deepen.
“This is good, yes!” she said to herself prancing around the table watching the beaker fill. “Good… Good… good…!” she sang as she pranced about. It took only a few moments for the beaker full of orange liquid to fill which made her squeal with delight. Taking the beaker and the hot contents she slowly spun much like a ballerina would with just the same grace over to another table which was overgrown with plant life. It was teaming with fruit and thorns the vines began to writhe as she approached sensing her presence, not so much defensive as eager.
“My pretty…” she said caressing one of the vines. “Are you ready…” she slowly began to pour the liquid into a tray and almost immediately the vines plunged into the space and began soaking up the liquid. It was visible as it was being absorbed, by black lines running through the vine. She watched as the fruit began to grow and become engorged. “My sweet…” she stroked one of the vines letting out a soft giggle.
She plucked one of the fruit with a lighting fast movement, the plant recoiled in agony bunching in upon itself and making several snapping gestures at her just to show its displeasure. This brought a deep grin to her lips. “It’s alright my pet. Just one…” she poured the rest of the liquid into the trough knowing that it would continue to absorb the mixture after she moved away.
Sitting down on a stool and watching her plaything return to its previous state she took a bite from the fruit allowing the juice to flow into her mouth, it was succulent, sweet, and her body reacted exactly as she suspected it would letting out a deep moan. She felt her body tighten up as the fluid ran through her veins. So aggressive, so sweet, alarmingly satisfying. She giggled and took another bite.

Benjamin tapped on the controls from OPS as he talk to Commander Mehrunissa Rai. "Do you think Lieutenant Grabfoot would join our game later? His big enough. I think he would make a good teammate… Mehrunissa? I mean Commander Rai?" He quickly turned around and she was on the floor. Ben grabbed her hand and pulled her off the floor. "Are you okay ma’am?" The distortions around them was only noticed by Rai. "Can you walk ma’am? Do you want me to page sickbay?" The Sotrila’s bridge was huge and they were just off to the side of the center of the command chairs. The distortions of light covered the surrounding bulkheads and controls. The slipstream-like appearance covered all of what Rai saw. It’s intensity would wax and wane for her and at moments it would solidify from one setting to the other. Ben manage to encourage her to at least leave the bridge to the mess hall. He knew how she felt about sickbay at least not the place but someone there. While they walked down he continued to ramble to Commander Rai. "Have you served on an Odyssey Class starship before, or is the Sotrila your first?"

Silence be fell her and it was no way defeat. Her bottomless eyes followed her captor and there were no way Anton to know. What seems like torture was a kind of affection that were only clear between them. She allowed the situation to go further even then he removed his tunic. Beneath his Jupiter uniform Anton’s torso didn’t disclose the definable chest, stomach and pale skin so as to complemented her own. Her breath escaped through her mouth as mist was the result of warm breath against the cold air. The void of her eyes disclosed nothing and could mean anything like her stoic lifeless body on the steel table. Her blood hitting the steel ground echoed through the dimly diffuse space.
The firm contact against her body; first on her leg and quickly his entire weight as he straddled over her. This sudden warmth from his inner legs through his trousers. The textures of the material scrapes against her skin. Anya’s black hole eyes drew him in. He spoke in a whisper, “I know you think I'm doing this for my amusement or curiosity.” Anton held her by the neck squeezing tenderly to constrain her breathing a tad. “That is not my motivation at all, but I must learn things about you that diagnostic equipment can't tell me. I must have the raw materials of my own.”
Anya didn’t flinch when the syringe penetrated her eye. Nor the action as it extracted the fluid from her brain. Anton’s warm breath on her face. His strong grip on her neck and the precision as the needle gave her a spike of pleasure down her body. Her skin yearned for more and wanted a bite out of him. “You are everything I hoped you would be, good. If we are to accomplish great things you will need to be.” His gently caress of her cheek ruined her bliss. Anya exhaled a bored sigh at the same time with a mental trigger that briefly occurred.

"Lieutenant? What's going on? She shook off the hand he was using to help guide her toward the lift.
"Whatever game this is, it ends now." She stopped, despite his urging, and turned back.
Ghost-like images floated in her field of vision. Rai could see their forms indistinctly, as if they'd passed been through a prism, broken down into individual bands of light and overlaid on top of one anpther. But the images didn't match. One officer sat quietly at her console but her prism image furiously tapped her controls. A bump on the head might have caused double vision, but nothing Rai could think of would account for this strange disconnectedness.
"I'm on duty, lieutenant, I can't just leave my station. You know that. So, if you want me to go with you, you had better explain."

“Lieutenant? What's going on?” Mehrunissa blocked Benjamin’s attempts to guide her to a turbo lift. "Whatever game this is, it ends now." When she asked her question towards him it seemed Mehrunissa just stood there. He had called out to her several times, "Ma’am. Commander Rai, are you OK? Mom. Mom!" After a few calls she disconnectedly looked back at him then to whatever she seem to try to point out. "Mom? I really think you should come with me to sickbay." Benjamin tried to urge her to come with him but his mother insisted, "I'm on duty, lieutenant, I can't just leave my station. You know that. So, if you want me to go with you, you had better explain."
"OK…" He didn’t know what was his mom was feeling nor did he know what to tell her. "Your the XO and I think it's best that Lieutenant Commander Haemis should take over the bridge for now." He worriedly said. He gestured to another officer if he could momentarily take his post. Then Benjamin returned his focus towards Mehrunissa."OK, you had an accident a while back and you forgot some things. I know you hate being in Sickbay with dad but you should let him check you out to be sure that your 'really' fully recovered." He hesitantly said but the worry in his voice conveyed her to seriously come with him. "Better yet, do you want the Captain to explain?" Benjamin knew that his mom would rather hear it from the captain instead of his father. It was awkward enough that his parents would have ended up serving on the same ship, especially they both haven't seen each other in years.

LOCATION: CAPTAIN'S QUARTERS TO CARGOBAY
They say that when a captain's star ship is damaged they feel it. Stanton didn't know if that was true, but he felt like shit. Every inch of his body ached. He was given the option of pain killers from the doctor which he summarily refused. Whatever was going on with Stanton, he felt drugs would inhibit. He felt something of Kate, and it was something dark. It was as if that dark part was imprisoning part of her. He had talked to the others in the after action meetings, and was given a stark picture of his own behavior on Thunder. It wasn't that he was ashamed of killing, because he had done plenty of that in his pasts. No, it was that he could barely remember a thing. The only thing he could remember was how he felt. It was everything all at once. All of his senses were alive. The looks the others gave him during that meeting didn't escape him. Owen was the worst. He had the look of someone who was looking at an addict. It was a look of pity. He looked in the mirror. He was in dress uniform, but dress uniform didn't hold the luster it did in the past. He was squared away so off he went.
He worked to clear his thoughts as he walked through the corridors to the cargo bay. It was clear that Haemis had his crew working furiously to get the ship battle worthy. They escaped the blast of course, but not without some damaged. The crew worked feverishly, but it was clear that the morale was down. Stanton had much to process. He didn't know the Admiral well so he didn't know what to say. He felt like his senses were acute. The aroma of burned isollnear chips stung his senses. He thought about something Rai told him, it was a warning, a warning of obliteration. She was supposed to be the one of the more stable members of the crew. He could no longer hold that expectation. He still felt hot, and his senses were on pins and needles. Stanton walked into the cargo bay with the all the crew that could attend there. There was nothing but a large holographic image of the Admiral. The Image had Grabfoot in white dress. The first thing he thought was how much the admiral hated the shite dress the last time he had to wear it. He stood waiting for the rest of the senior staff to join him at the font.

Rai's expression hardened. "I said no more games." The lieutenant's own expression was open and honest. He, at least, believed what he was saying was true. She relaxed.
"Very well, then. Please tell Captain Briggs I would like to speak with him." She turned and walked back toward the command center, dismissing him. She could almost hear the young officer's mouth drop open.
"Mr. McTavish you're relieved, you may return to engineering."
Haemis acknowledged but looked confused. She seated herself and nodded confidently to the engineer, but self-doubt had begun to creep in. There were gaps in her memory or at least, some discrepancies. It was not the sort of thing that was casually discussed on the bridge, however. After she spoke to the captain, she was sure things would be resolved.

“I said no more games.” Mehrunissa curtly said towards Benjamin. She continued saying, "Very well, then. Please tell Captain Briggs I would like to speak with him." Benjamin's head jolted back, then slowly uttered. "Captain Briggs?" To himself but loud enough to be heard. He muffled his voice as he began to speak in to his com-badge asking for the Captain to come to the bridge, "Sir, mom is having one of her episodes again and i think it would be best for you to explain..."
"Mr. McTavish you're relieved, you may return to engineering." Mehrunissa said. Both men look towards each other when she said 'engineering'; Lieutenant Commander Haemis McTavish was the Tactical Officer and the engineer was Lieutenant Grabfoot. Haemis decided to moved where Benjamin stood near one of the lifts to wait for the captain... Benjamin walked over where his mother took a seat. "I thought you didn't want to see dad? but if you think it's best to have him come up instead of going to sick bay. OK, i'll ask him to come here." He was so confused and he felt exactly when Mehrunissa hadn't recognized him during the accident. He understood it wasn't her but the injury that made her not remember her only son. He had hope that of she saw his father that Mehrunissa would remember Stanton and 'maybe' him too.

Location: USS Sotrilla, Main Bridge
“Mr. McTavish you’re relieved, you may return to Engineering.” He hadn’t known Mehrunissa that long but this seemed odd. She seemed to be interacting with someone or something that wasn’t there. He watched her for a long few moments.
“Commander Rai,” he asked in a smooth calm tone. “Is everyth’n alright?” he shifted a little uneasy with the ache in his knee and shoulder. It was bugging him, throbbing. He heard her mention talking to the Captain as if she was still talking to someone. “Who are ye talk’n too lass? You do know the Cap’n is in the Cargo Bay wait’n to start the ceremony right?”
He heard the unmistakable sound of a Tricorder popping open behind him and the whirl of it starting to scan. His eyes scanned the bridge and he noted something was missing and that some of the Junior officers were looking on with concern themselves watching Mehrunissa. He blinked, and noted suddenly that the ship wasn’t at an alert status. He was certain he heard the call to duty, not only had he acknowledge it but so had Madalyn, but the ship was still at condition green. He looked back at Madalyn who was nose deep in the readings from her Tricorder. Something wasn’t right, but Haemis couldn’t put his finger on it.
