Her whiskers twitched a bit at his attitude, then her nose as his smell changed, then watched as he crossed his arms. Is he trying to intimidate her? For his information, she wasn't intimidated or impressed. Although she nodded in agreement to the fact that he, and not the captain of the vessel, had decided to aid her as the shuttle had malfunctioned
"I am aware of my guest status.." A glance to his collar indicated his rank. A Marine Captain? She zones him out a moment as she thinks of the naval equivalent. Her ears perked as she realized that this pompous male is only a Lieutenant and he's giving her attitude and a dressing down, so to speak? Well, this is his ship and he did save her but that was not the main point of why she wanted to cuff him. She then remembered she was speaking to the man and continued with what she was going to say.. "..Marine Captain. That was never in question, nor my gratefulness in rescuing my tail. My complaint is that you came in as if this was your own quarters, without knocking or sticking your tail through the door to announce your presence." She then craned her neck to one side "Although it is unfortunate you don't have a tail." She commented with a tone of sympathy
She then looked back to his scowling face "If I am thought of as dead, then I need to inform those I need to report to that I am alive and well and that I am to be delayed since you seem to not be going on the same path as I." She then paused then requested "If I am to be aboard your vessel for an extended time, then I wish to, request even, to be placed as a member of the crew. It would be better then simply sitting around doing nothing." She stood there, awaiting his response

"Your complaint is noted, commander." Beaubourg replied blandly, implying that was the only response, Tail Kinker could expect. "However, this ship is one where security takes precedence over courtesy and you're still considered a risk until Major Mindwinter determines otherwise. I'll assume you have nothing to hide?" He quirked a half smile as he nodded toward the pile of cast off clothes and then to Tail Kinker as she stood in nothing but her fur.
"I'll relay to the captain your desire to be 'useful' and you may be assured that all those who need to be, will be notified of your change of plans." He bowed slightly and turned to leave, pausing at the door.
"As for my tail, others have always considered it...satisfactory."

She perked her whiskers forward then back in satisfaction. The pompous male had conceded her point and offered somewhat of an apology, although she surmised he would never verbalize one to her. "I assure you that I am quite clean and offer no reason to be a security risk." She saw the smirk, following his gaze over to her miniscule clothing, then back to him as he directed his attention back to her. Her tail twitched "If I had something to hide, I am sure you would be the one to sniff it out. I don't plan to leave these quarters to go out and cause a scene that would be deemed a security incident." She commented, looking a little innocent yet sincere
She listened to his next comments then watched as he turned to go. She turned to go to a replicator, intending to replicate some clean clothes. She paused and looked at him in the doorway, her gaze looking back down to where he would have a tail after he commented that other have found his tail satisfactory. Her gaze didn't linger there before her eyes met his again. I can assure you that I am not like the others, sir. Your tail may be satisfactory, but I have seen better." She turned back toward the replicator, dismissing him to leave as he pleased.

Narrator - Dark Skies - The alien craft was thrown several parsecs and was at drift for several hours. The damages were extensive, both internally and external. The entire ventral side of the Ttar’Veck was scorched along with some of the battle frills. A psychic screech fills the minds of anyone across 100 light years. This telepathic cry of pain was deafening causing those effected a period of paralyzation. The senses would return after a few hours. It had left it’s pilot nearly as worst as the Ttar’Veck’s pain. Chemical analysis began to flood in to the pilot’s brain and a voice in an alien language reports of damages. “Damage to external membrane, 57% destroyed. Regeneration at 38% efficiency. - Chromatophores coverage is at 43%. Damage to Spinal Core, 7th to 9th spinal bone fused. Regeneration at 30% efficiency. - Internal system censors irregular. Manual regulation recommended. - Internal hemorrhaging. Regeneration recommended high priority. Damage to Auxiliary Propulsion, Conventional Warp Organ destroyed. Switching to primary ‘IG’ propulsion and to multi Pulse Burst organs. Damage to primary mitochondria series. Regeneration at 9% efficiency. Manual power feed recommended. Damage to pulse cores. Regeneration at 2% efficiency. Switching to primary neutron cannon with manual power feed only.”
The pilot takes it’s armored hands and arms and extends them in to an organ within the Ttar’Veck. The living space craft draws energy from the pilot to regenerate and power it’s systems. Even damaged this craft was deadly. It flipped 180 degrees and shot through space. It was like impulse but at three times the speed but less then the speed of warp factor one. Dead ahead an opening in space quickly formed and closed behind the craft as it slipped through. It had appeared directly in front of USS Dark Skies and merely stopped. Dead in space! Showing it’s wounds, detached parts and expelling fluids in to space. It was something that no one has seen before or could understand what it was entirely. It didn’t look like a life form nor a vessel. TAG: USS Dark Skies[/color]

The combadge had gone off. “Admiral. A Lieutenant Xander is asking for you. Should I show her in your Ready Room?” Anya doesn’t reply to her aid. She takes one last look out of the large gash and leaves deck seven. Anya proceeds up to the ridiculously large bridge. She enters one of two large entrances and heads on to her command platform to sat briefly in her chair. Walks off to her Ready Room seeing the Lieutenant standing in front of her aid. “Coming along?”
Inside the Ready Room she walks to her desk and leaned against it. “Why are you here?” She asked straightforwardly but the question wasn’t. The intended question was meant to be asking Louise why did she accept orders to be here. What kind of person is she or isn’t? She had all the records of the Lieutenant but Anya wanted to hear it from Louise.

Tail kinker is still in the guest quarters, the arrogant and pompous first officer having left the guest quarters and leaving her in peace. She started giving her measurements and instructions for a clean uniform when something white flashed by the view port. She told the replicator to hold, with ears tipping forward, she walked over to the view port to look out, seeing.. she wasn't sure what she was seeing. Some form of alien vessel, or was it some form of living entity? Should she report the craft thing or did they already know of it's presence already? Of course, they would. That things is right in front of them.
Her ears flicked back against her head as that thing began expelling.. what? Gasses, fluids, blood? No, couldn't be blood. She didn't know what it was but her star fleet training kicked in and she felt she had to tell the Captain, whether the captain wanted her on the ship or not. Plus, she wanted to get tactical readings of that craft to see if it posed any kind of threat.
She turned from the view port and loped toward the exit, just missing the door as she bolted from the room, surprising a couple officer that were walking by. She headed down the hall, then seen a TL to her left. Screeching to a halt, claws dogging into the deck, she changed her path and entered the Turbo lift. "Take me to the bridge." She would tell the turbo lift computer, feeling the lift move in the direction of the bridge
She burst from the turbo lift a few moments later, she looking around the bridge for the captain of the vessel, noting the curious and surprised looks from the bridge officers, especially in her nude state. All but one, who seemed to have a stoic expression on her face. A quick glance to the other person's collar told her she had found the person to report this craft to, noting the rank of Major. A quick thought filtered through her mind ~Is there no one here with a higher rank of Lt commander/Major?~ She didn't even see a Lt Colonel around "As you may already be aware, there is a strange.. vessel that has appeared and it's expelling or venting some sort of gas or liquid, like it is injured. I know not the nature of this venting but It could be dangerous." She informed the commander of the vessel, then waited for the other woman's response.

Major Mindwinter's expression was stoic and remained so after Tail Kinker had delivered her impassioned speech on the state of affairs.
Beaubourg released a sigh of exasperation, unholstered his weapon, aimed it casually at the commander's backside and fired. Tail Kinker dropped to the deck, unconscious.
He pointed to the security officer who stood post just inside the command deck's doors. "You. Take her back to her quarters and this time, make sure the door is secured. She's to have restricted access only to all ship's information. No outgoing communications will be permitted."
The guard acknowledged with a brief nod, picked the slumped Sivaoan up and slung her across his shoulders in a fireman's carry. He exited the deck double-time, despite the fact that the felinoid he was carrying was a stone or two heavier than he was.
Beaubourg, performed an about face and addressed the captain. "My apologies, major. It seems following your orders may have been the more intelligent decision, certainly the less bothersome."

After a hour or so from Beaubourg leaving the Command Deck…an object appeared directly ahead. It was the very thing they were attacked by and they were chasing after. It may look as if the alien craft was acting oddly but from Monica’s experience…its simply block they’re path. Staring them down…looking at its foe and telling us that it will kill us. Monica may look very Borg like but deep down she still remembers how to be human. She was assimilated at sixteen and been a drone for only eleven years. An out burst on the Command Deck came from one of the opening turbo lifts. "As you may already be aware, there is a strange.. vessel that has appeared and it's expelling or venting some sort of gas or liquid, like it is injured. I know not the nature of this venting but It could be dangerous." Monica simply turned her head and quickly back at the view screen. She didn’t have the time to waste on a nude female. Monica yells out, “Do you want your lives to be terminated? Eyes front!”She may not understand her executive, Beaubourg but they shared the same priorities. She does not react to him shooting at the Commander but hears, "You. Take her back to her quarters and this time, make sure the door is secured. She's to have restricted access only to all ship's information. No outgoing communications will be permitted." Monica yells out, “Drop the tractor beam! Evasive maneuvers and power up quad pulse cannons.” She knew the priority over the wreckage and the alien craft. The Admiral wants that ship over anything else and that is what Monica will do. “Fire the tag ones you have a clear shot.” She tells whomever on the command deck to do. She turns to Beaubourg. "My apologies, major. It seems following your orders may have been the more intelligent decision, certainly the less bothersome." She pondered a thought of, ‘I know I was right’. But she didn’t say out loud and it wasn’t her character to say. Monica quietly responded, “Now do we have an understanding? Lets work together instead of…” She paused shortly and continued, “What humans say? Lets not bite at one another.”She orders helm, “Make sure you keep it away from the Legacy’s wreckage.” The alien craft evades the Dark Skies but does not engage them. The thing was organic…it was clear to her it was a living thing. It was like Species 8472 but acted far more strange…it didn’t move like any other ship she has assimilated. It moved erratically and had no patterns or logic in it flight plan. Even how it avoid them it moved in the most random way…the Dark Skies seemed to be toyed with and Monica could not get a tag lock on it’s haul. “Fire quad pulse cannons! We need to cripple that vessel.” She turns to Beaubourg and pondered to her self, ‘We should have kept the feline’s ship.’ Location: USS Dark Skies, Command Deck Tags: Marine Captain Beaubourg

Tail kinker is reminded again of her state of undress as the Major had barely acknowledged her, but instead told the rest of the bridge crew to pay attention to what's on screen, not the nude commander, trying to be helpful and advice the major about the alien craft that's off the bow.
Her senses screamed danger a moment before a phaser blast came from behind. Pain coursed through her body before she dropped to the deck, momentarily stunned. She was down, but not out. She faked being unconscious, listening as the obnoxious XO told another officer to take her back to the guest quarters and make sure she stayed there by securing the door. ~ I think not, Marine Captain~ She thought to herself as the officer complied. She felt herself being lifted then slung over the male's shoulders and carried out like a common slash back. The last thing she heard of the bridge, is the Major's half finished response to the obnoxious XO's so called apology, before the turbo lift doors cut her off
"Deck 8, guest quarters." She heard the male instruct the turbo lift and then felt its movement. She decided to end her ruse "You can put me down now." She told the officer, not making it an order but made it sound like one.
She felt the officer jump a little, as if not expecting her to be conscious, then recovered "Sorry, ma'am. I have my orders." The man said before the TL slowed and then stopped. When the doors opened, he stepped out.
"Yes, you do, but I just gave you another order. Since you won't put me down, then I will put you down." She quickly wrapped her tail around his ankles and pulled them together, effectively tripping him. With a yelp, the man goes down. She goes down on all four then leaps free of the man before he tried to grab her. The man rose to one knee and tried to un-holster his weapon. Before he could aim at her, she slaps the weapon away "You won't be needing that. I got shot once today, I don't care for a second time. Now I want you to take me to main engineering. That is an order and if you don't comply, your life is forfeit." To emphasize her threat, she withdrew her claws and held them close to his throat until the man decided to follow her order. She retrieves the phaser "I'll hold on to this." She told him as the man escorted her to main engineering. On the way, she had him strip his shirt so she could wear it. It wouldn't be proper, around humans, to walk around with no clothes.
Once there, security tried to intervene, she simply stunned them and a couple engineering officers. 'Stay Back" She called out. "Anymore interference and I will fire again." She addressed the chief engineer "Get your people and leave. I am taking over." The Engineering team complies. She walks over to the pool table and taps a couple keys, opening an audio only to the bridge. She would also tap into the tactical and science controls and get the readings that she had wanted to get before she was stopped on the bridge. That thing is alive? Judging from its erratic movements, the bio ship could be injured as it had been venting some sort of liquid. Hearing the order to use quad pulse cannons to possibly cripple the vessel, she tapped a couple keys in attempt to disable the quad cannons "The vessel is already damaged, major." She commented to herself "Anymore damage and you'd risk destroying it. I can't have that. You already have one toy that I want. Now this makes two."
( OOC: adding to the post to make it a bit more.. )
After a couple moments thought, she looped her tail then living up to her name, she tapped into the controls again. Setting up a force field around Engineering, locking down the turbolifts that have access to engineering, and last but not least, locks the bridge down, so *hopefully* no one can come after her, giving her a time to plan her next move. As she looked around, her ears quivering in thought, she spotted a locker off to the side, with a plague that stated "Body Armor". She had a feeling she would need it, plus it would cover her up a bit more so she is more dress. She walks over to aquire one

Monica noticed the quad pulse cannon stopped firing. “What are you doing?” As she turns to the Tactical Officer and she replies to Monica. “They stopped on there own…they are being rerouted to main engineering!” “Disable the gravity in main engineering. Helm take gamma beta maneuver…which should throw whomever is tampering with our weapons.” Anyone in engineering should loose gravity and be floating about. “I want the it alive and awake to be interrogated. Go!”She moves an officer aside from a station console. Her hands fly over the controls and works on regaining control of the weapons. She pondered to her self wondering who the hell is this Commander but understands why the Admiral as asked for her...as she was very good to undermining them. What Monica doesn’t understand is Tail Kinker to-Ennien’s defiance and actions against them. For the moment she doesn’t care of the feline’s well being or how important she is to the Admiral. She is a threat to the mission of capture of the alien craft. There is no logic in doing this and giving the organic vessel a reason to shoot them dead. “Beaubourg please detain the Commander.” She turns to helm again, “Keep up with the craft.”Location: USS Dark Skies, Command Deck Tags: Marine Captain Beaubourg & Tail Kinker to-Ennien

"I am Lieutenant Louise Xander reporting in as your new Security Chief." Anya listened to her answer. She gave a slight sigh. “Your records tell me your human. Well. We both know that isn’t true. Or at least you aren’t anymore, you’re a Type Two or commonly referred to a Vampire.” She pushed herself off the desk and walked around the Lieutenant that’s stood before her. “Tell me about what special talents you can be of my benefit?”

She gave off a slight evil smile. "There is not one code I cannot break or find." Paused a moment. "At least I have not yet came across one. I could even find one of your codes in a few minutes and if given a day I could find all your personal and command codes." Holding up one finger. "That is if I desire to do so or feel reason to do so but at the moment I find no reason to do so, unless you need me to prove it to you." Putting her arm down back to her side and looks the Admiral over a little with her eyes. "I could even lift you over my head and throw you to the other side of the room but I will not since you have not yet given me reason to do so." Taking a step forward. "Since you know my secret of being a Vampire then you would also know that my past experience with the SS Tailchaser so if one is in need to steal a ship for your own personal reasons then I would be able to fly her." Putting her hands on the Admiral's desk and leaned forward a little. "In every universe there are four kinds of people.. Good, Evil, the ones that does not care and the ones that would do anything for the right price.. Do tell me this Admiral, Why should I be loyal to only you and no one else?" Showing off a larger evil grin that showed off her fangs.

"Security protocol Tutamen Tutaminis. Authorization Pi, Phi, Epsilon. Engineering. Execute." Beaubourg used the open comm channel that Tail Kinker had established to activate the program. In engineering, a sonic shockwave thrummed from the center of the bay, sending out concussive ripples that echoed off the bulkheads similar to that of old-fashioned flash-bangs. It disabled everyone within the perimeter of the forcefield, bouncing back with even greater force when it met and combined with the energy the field emitted. "Major, you'll find that Tail Kinker only tapped into your controls, she did not override them. Everyone in engineering will be unconscious for at least 20 minutes. That should be ample time for you to lock the commander out, should she attempt to regain control, and for a security team to clear engineering." Beaubourg's lip curled in disdain. "This time that damned cat will be waking up in a cell, not in quarters."

She listened as the Major inquired why the pulse cannons had stopped firing, the answering being that control had been routed to Engineering. When the Major called for the gravity to be switched off, her tail stiffened as she suddenly felt weightless. She tried to grab a console so she would not float too far off the ground. but she was already too far to grab a substantial hold. She realized she was pretty well powerless and couldn't do anything. She also noted her "escort" was also powerless and unable to do anything, trying to right himself as he had ended up upside down. "Fuzz brain!" She directed toward the open comm link, toward the Major "That bio ship is more valuable alive then destroyed." The computer graciously making her comm link a two way instead of just an audio.
She then heard the pompous commander speak up, giving an order to the computer. ~What is that pompous commander..~ She started to think to herself, wondering what he was up to but then she found out, quite painfully. The sonic shockwave that emitted through the Engineering bay sent ripples of extreme pain throughout her ears, mind and central nervous system. She squalled in pain, clutching her head and ears with her hands. With the effects of the erect force field only increased the damaging effects. Blissfully, she passed out due to the shock to her system, she just hanging their in mid-air, arms hanging down in the zero-gravity space.

Narrator - Dark Skies –
OOC – Continue with your current story within the Dark Skies. Karen please narrate my action post as your development unfolds. Simmers wait for her lead before responding to the Action post. The erratic movement of the alien craft had a pattern but nothing that the Dark Skies's crew could understand. However clever as the former Drone was, they’re enemy was a step ahead. If anyone was paying attention and likely would have been too late. The vessel had open an 'Instant Aperture'. It's movement were base on the predictable Starfleet vessel's maneuvers. What little that they knew of the technology that they aimed to take. The alien craft had swindled them in to entering the opening in space. This aperture would have been nearly undetectable from the naked eye. Unless you knew what you were looking for. Sensor readings would have given you whatever conditions from the other side. The place that this well hidden door in space brought them to a region that was identical to where they were but different. The passage through was instantaneous and unnoticeable. The alien craft transported them to a star system with binary stars with three planets orbiting. Two were gas giants and one rocky planet too close to it's Suns. The craft moved to one of the large gas giants that had an icy ring. The alien vessel began to move in a slight normal movement, strait. The craft may move in slight angles but move in a linear direction. To where the Dark Skies could just cruise along behind. A hidden green glow beneath them could softly be seen but sensors would not know what would follow. Something in the icy ring of this gas giant had a lump of rock. Maybe a moon? But the alien craft didn't change course, just flew towards the moon. Although this 'moon' was still far enough for the Dark Skies to alter course if needed. The alien craft shot 90 degrees upwards, giving not enough allowance for the Starfleet vessel to react. A roaring sound followed by a rumble, the Dark Skies’s bulkheads move in a rapid up and down motion. Suddenly a large creature burst from the ice and it’s mouth opens pulling them in. There were not enough time to jump to warp and in they went. Once inside there were no stars just a black void. With ice and rocks crashing in to one another and against the vessel. They appeared to move towards a single direction, about a quarter impulse.

Anya’s solid black eyes gaze on this Type Two and listens. “There is not one code I cannot break or find.” In that moment of Louise’s pause, Anya saw the typical arrogant response. “At least I have not yet came across one. I could even find one of your codes in a few minutes and if given a day I could find all your personal and command codes.” Her eyes tracks the Vampire’s finger. “That is if I desire to do so or feel reason to do so but at the moment I find no reason to do so, unless you need me to prove it to you.” While Louise puts her arm down and look over Anya. “I could even lift you over my head and throw you to the other side of the room but I will not since you have not yet given me reason to do so.” She found her rather over confident, typically those who come to serve her. Ends up being broken and remade to Anya’s needs but this one might be good exactly the way Louise is.
Anya moved around while the Vampire stepped forward. “Since you know my secret of being a Vampire then you would also know that my past experience with the SS Tailchaser so if one is in need to steal a ship for your own personal reasons then I would be able to fly her.” She had no idea what Louise was speaking of. This wasn’t the first Anya had met a Vampire. In fact she met several breeds and she simply wanted to know which one Louise was. Admiral Rothschild simply nodded firmly not giving any note of how she really felt. Even internally; breathing, blood flow…. Etc. She could deceive any Vampire of her actual being and express, however, she wanted.
“In every universe there are four kinds of people.. Good, Evil, the ones that does not care and the ones that would do anything for the right price.. Do tell me this Admiral, Why should I be loyal to only you and no one else?” Anya tilted her head slightly and responded, “Tell me about your mum? Saavpek is her name.” She was not impressed nor liked how Louise is asking her service. She walked closer to her and stared her down with her malevolent gaze. “I don’t care about your loyalty. What you need to understand. You came to me and in my ship there are only two kinds of chaps. Those who think they are evil and those who truly are.” Saying in a firm stoic approach, “Tell me about your mum. Do you love her?” In her cold black heart she can stare in to a creature’s eyes such as a vampire and feel no fear. The Admiral has gone through many things and she's not going to explain herself to a pretentious thug.

"That B---h?" Her hands tightened into a fist. "She killed my birth parents when I was only 3 and raised me as her own but because she did this I know how to speak, read and write Rihannsu. Part of me wants her dead for killing my parents but then again she was raised by to Praetor Hiren and that has itself has it's advantages."

"Fuzz brain!" The feline creature uttered towards her, "That bio ship is more valuable alive then destroyed." If she could express her ponder over intercom…she would have already done so. Like any drone she tries to explains her intentions even if she didn’t need to. “The alien craft is resilient, disabling it is the likely out come…us able to destroy it is unlikely.” She paused briefly to adjust heading to counter the alien vessel. “Keep up with the craft.”Her attention returns to Tail Kinker, “Who are you?” Pondering that this Commander must be more then she is…can’t be just a normal Starfleet officer. Its clear that the Admiral’s expecting her for good reason but her action counter minds the productivity of the Admiral’s wishes. After Beaubourg’s sonic shockwave in engineering and subdued the trouble maker…Monica returns the gravity back in engineering decks. This then drops anyone floating about to hit the floor hard. "Major, you'll find that Tail Kinker only tapped into your controls, she did not override them. Everyone in engineering will be unconscious for at least 20 minutes. That should be ample time for you to lock the commander out, should she attempt to regain control, and for a security team to clear engineering." She locks out the controls with a fractal encryption any where else but the Command Deck. She didn’t want another interruption. “Acknowledge Marine Captain. Ones you have her…I need to know who is she working for? Why was she requested by the Admiral. I don’t think she is who she is claiming to be.”One of the Command Deck officers noted that they’re readings of the space around them is slightly off. For one thing the Legacy’s wreckage is no longer in vicinity. Although the alien craft looks to have been drained and moving rather less erratic. “Follow the vessel and someone establish where we are...” Monica’s eyes are set on the alien and how in touching distance they are from they’re target. She’s not going to risk passing it up regardless of weather this is a trap or has taken them to god knows where. The flight plan of the alien has brought them to a star system of three planets…towards one of the two gas giants. The only planet with icy rings with a few moons orbiting her. Logically this would be a good place for the craft to evade them or spring up a trap. Regardless it’s a chance she needed to tag the thing or disable it and drag it back to the Admiral. Meanwhile…the Marine Captain should have brought the Commander in for questioning. Monica will hold out her turn…waits to see if her Executive could bring out the truth out of Tail Kinker to-Ennien. Before Monica attempts to implement her own interrogation tactics…for the moment her attention is on the alien craft. “Deploy a discreet tag on the vessel.” she said in her stoic tone. “Place it in a location that isn’t easily removed.” Her logic of the vessel’s design gave her the educated guess of that it had no known openings and if there was a pilot or crew. She could not imagine they were humanoid…but possibly something completely different. Must be a smaller group of unknown aliens? " I supposed you think that you did the only thing you could do under the circumstances? Gallantly sacrificing yourself by taking control of the ship to save us all from our pig- headed ignorance?"
Tail Kinker's borrowed armor had been removed and replaced with a standard utility jumpsuit and a thorough search made to ensure she hid nothing else on her person. She'd been placed in one of the ship's detainment cells, which was equipped with a sleeping shelf and toilet facilities that were built to accommodate most bipedal species.
Tail Kinker regained consciousness and realized almost immediately she was not in Engineering anymore. The smells were different and she ached in places, mostly in the front of her body, like her hips, chest and face, unaware she had been unceremoniously planted to the deck when the gravity was restored in Engineering. She looked around and came to the conclusion that she had been placed in a detainment cell. Her eyes focused and her fur bristled. She saw the arrogant, pompous Marine captain standing there outside the cell, saying something. She could see his lips moving, but could not hear his words. She growled and sprang to all fours, then leaped at him in attempt to attack him.. at least she thinks she growled, she felt her throat vibrate, yet heard no sound. Her attack never connected, but her body connected to the force field and threw her back a few feet. She shook her head to clear the dazed feeling she got from crashing into the detainment cell's force field.
Beaubourg leaned his shoulder against the bulkhead outside of the cell and folded his arms across his chest. "At least that hard head you've evolved is good for one thing. It keeps you from doing serious harm to yourself." He straightened, looking directly into Tail Kinker's green-gold glare. "If you're quite finished with the dramatics, perhaps you would explain your actions in engineering? You did your best to get our complete attention and now you have it. What is it you want so badly that you're willing to act the complete ass to try and get it?"
With her head clearer, she turned to look at the pompous male, now seemingly leisurely leaning against the cell wall, as if she were no threat to him at all, which she wasn't, as long as he had her in this detainment cell, then straightened and peered directly into her eyes. His lips moved but then again, no sound emerged from those arrogant lips "Why don't you.." She started to ask why didn't he speak up, instead of making her think that she is some sound proof room but then the realization hit home, that she couldn't hear herself either. She tried again, raising her voice a bit: "Speak Up!" She asked, somewhat ordered but again, she didn't hear the command. Her whiskers twitched, concern and fear starting to show in her eyes. She then yelled at the top of her lungs, but then again, she heard no sound but the felt the echoes bouncing around the walls. Then she remembered the sonic blast that she was hit with in Engineering, the force fields she had raised, only adding to the destructive forces the sonic blast had created. She glared at the Marine Captain again, hissed then turned her back to him, the distress of her dilemma evident in her shoulders and tail when she grasped it and wrung it fiercely.
A slow smile spread across Beaubourg's face. 'So, you can't hear me. Is that it? And no ability to read lips? You are in a sorry situation, commander. You have no idea what's happening to us or the alien vessel. You were desperate enough to try to take control of the ship in order to communicate something about that ship and it's injury and now, simply because you can't hear, this grand philanthropic attempt of your's ends with you sulking in a cell."
He took out a padd and stylus and wrote. "Although you can't hear, you can still speak. I recommend doing it voluntarily. If not, it may be decided that as your tongue is a useless as your ears, it should be removed." He turned the padd around and brought it close to the shield so she could read it.
Tail Kinker turned back to face the pompous male, having composed herself somewhat, accepting the fact that she may will be unable to hear for the rest of her life. That, in itself, would be a severe handicap, especially for a Sivaoan. She believed that, in normal cases, that would be enough to desire taking the other trail, but then again, this or she is not normal. She looked to the padd that he had brought near the force field, assuming the marine captain had wanted her to read what he had inputted. She did just that, her eyes narrowing as she met his eyes once again. "My ears may be useless, Marine Captain, but my tongue is still quite useful, unlike yourself. You wish me to speak, so I shall do so, but I wish to speak to your commanding officer, not you." She spoke in what she deemed a normal voice.
This time Beaubourg tapped the speech to text function of the padd."You're in no position to make 'requests', commander. Since coming aboard you've disrupted the ship and potentially put it's crew in danger. When we should have been engaging the alien vessel, your actions required personnel and resources be sent to handle the problems you created. I'll ask Major Mindwinter if she wishes to speak to you but don't be surprised if she prefers my recommendation that we take you back where we found you and scatter your remains among the wreckage"
Her whiskers twitched again as she read his comments, that she was in no position to make requests. She thought it was a reasonable request. something simple like wanting to talk to the CO of the vessel. Forcing him and said CO to use personnel and resources to handle any problems she created. She shook her head as she finished reading his pathetic words before turning her attention back to the Marine Captain. "Let me remind you, Marine Captain, of something you have reminded me a couple times before. YOU brought me aboard, against the wishes of your commanding officer. I wanted to speak with her then, before all the problems I have caused inconvenienced you and your precious crew. Instead, you put me in a room and went on about your duties as if I wasn't even there. When I tried to speak with your commanding officer, she ignored me and then I get shot in the back for no reason other then attempting to be helpful. I gave my reasons for my being here yet my words fell on deaf ears." She inwardly cringed at that particular human phrase, suddenly having a dislike for it. "Then I am attacked yet again, by your orders, and then placed in this cell with no medical aid for my injuries. Explain that to the Admiral when she starts asking questions of my whereabouts and my medical condition when she finds out. My remains may not be the only ones scattered about." She finished with her arms crossing and her tail lashing from side to side. "Now if you're done torturing me. go speak with your commanding officer."
"Torture? Hmmm. The idea of using a 'cat' on you has certainly crossed my mind. Later perhaps?" Beaubourg bowed slightly and left, enjoying the look of disgust on the felinoid's face. Location: USS Dark Skies, Detainment Center. Tags: All

Beaubourg scowled as he entered the command deck. One didn't negotiate with terrorists and one didn't give in to the demands of another officer who, by her actions, made it clear that her own interests came before those of the ship.
The prevailing factor however, was that if Major Mindwinter would concede to speak with Tail Kinker, the situation could be resolved much more expediently than if he had to drag it word for word out of the commander's flea-ridden hide. The logic of this notwithstanding, Beaubourg felt that returning without having done as ordered was a personal failure. Her expression told him that she expected to be told the answers to her questions, not have to leave the command deck at a time when critical decisions might need to be made.
"Major." he acknowledged, as she turned to him.
"Commander Tail Kinker to-Ennien wishes to speak to you directly. Although her actions don't merit it, if you allow it, whatever information she has will be provided with the minimum of time and effort. Factors, that at this moment, may prove important. If the commander is making this request recklessly and for no other reason than for personal gain, I'll see to it that your quarters are supplied with a new Sivaoan fur rug at my earliest convenience."
